Kaden's gymnastics

Here is another video of Kaden doing the beam. He normally would not be on there at all without the instructor's help, but he is getting more and more brave every time.

Kaden's gymnastics

Here is Kaden on his last day of gymnastics! He has come a long way since we started. He used to not do the beam at all and now he will go up there and try it. Plus he is excellent with his forward roll and he is starting to learn backward rolls.

Kolter 9 month checkup

Kolter had his 9 month checkup this week. He weighs in at a whopping 23 lbs 5 oz. and he is 30 inches long. He is perfectly healthy and growing well. The only thing he is not doing that he "should" be doing is waving. For whatever reason he has decided he does not need to wave at anyone. We are practicing it now, but he does not seem to have a desire to wave. Oh well, I am sure he will wave when he is ready to, but for now he can just smile at everyone.

Update

I have to update the last blog. The day that I said Kolter only had his top tooth I was wrong, he bit me later with a bottom tooth as well. I realized then that he was busy cutting his bottom teeth too. So all the days of fussing and runny noses all make sense.

Week of firsts

So this week has been a momumental week for both Kaden and Kolter as they get older. After months of teething, Kolter finally has his first tooth! His top tooth popped through this week and the second one is coming in soon!! It is unusual for it to be his top tooth and I am not sure if he is even aware that it is there. But nontheless he finally has a tooth, now he can start chewing his steaks. The sad thing that is even though his tooth broke through, he will still be teething for a couple more years.

Kaden's first was a shower!! He told me that he wanted to take a shower just like daddy does, so sure enough we put him in there and he enjoyed it. Which is suprising because he does not like water on his face at all. What I find ironic is that for the longest time I wanted him to take a shower because it was faster but now that him and Kolter take baths together, he has decided he wants a shower and the whole process has doubled in length again. Oh well I know this is a good step for him to take, as well as a daring one for him. Now onto getting a shower all by himself!!!

Kolter "talking"

Here is a video of Kolter right after his breakfast just talking away. He became pretty shy when I first pulled out the video camera but he warmed up and started to talk.

Kaden dancing

Here is just a quick video of Kaden doing what he loves to do, turn on the music and just dance.
